A healthy turnout at Mind Your Body Mega Seminar

A full-capacity crowd of 500 people turned up for the first ever The Straits Times Mind Your Body 360º Health Management Seminar held at the Star Gallery at The Star Performing Arts Centre.

A lot of ST Mind Your Body readers saw the publicity ads and signed up for the seminar at an early bird price of $10 per person (U.P. $15). The event programme featured five doctors, including Cardiologists, Orthopaedic Surgeon and Oncology Medical Director. The participants not only got to learn from the speakers, they also enjoyed bargains from the partners who brought in special deals for this event.

“It was a well organised and useful seminar, I thank The Straits Times for organising this event that is beneficial to the public,” said Alan Bragassam, a participant at the event.

Partners were happy with the turnout for the event. Ms Tham Wai Leng, Marketing Manager of United Italian Trading Corporation, said: “This health seminar was informative for both consumers and advertisers. It was a good platform that gave us a voice to be heard by people who cared, and that was very encouraging.”

The event was organised by The Straits Times Mind Your Body and presented by Mount Elizabeth Hospitals with partners Parkway Cancer Centre and United Italian Trading Corporation together with Sunshine Bread which sponsored 500 loaves of sprouted wholemeal bread for all participants.
