500 invited guests and readers were treated to a prosperous and exclusive Chinese New Year feast at the last installment of the Lianhe Zaobao Great Chinese Classics Gourmet Series.

Held on 19 January at Resorts World Sentosa, the festive occasion was the finale to the 4-part dining series presented by Maybank credit cards.  

Guests had the opportunity to savour a specially created 8-course lunch by two of Resorts World Sentosa’s restaurants, Feng Shui Inn and Forest 森.  These dishes were not only inspired by the tales of the Chinese zodiac, they were also specially put together to compliment the exquisite wines provided by wine partner, Mille.     

To kickstart the festive celebrations, everyone got together for a prosperity toss in a mass Lo Hei session and a toast to the new year.  Guests were also served with Yanghe Spirit Classic (海之蓝), the liquor partner as well as beer courtesy of beer partner, Tiger.

Prosperity for the afternoon continued to roll in with the appearance by the God of Fortune, an exciting Dragon Dance performance, a kung-fu demonstration as well as Chinese New Year related stage games hosted by UFM100.3 DJ Anna Lim.

The event ended with a lucky draw with twelve lucky winners walking away with prizes like wine hampers, Tiger Beer hampers, Yanghe Spirit hampers and the grand prize of a weekend stay at Festive Hotel.
