Education news at your fingertips

Stay abreast of what is happening on the education scene with the new SGEducation app.

For those who are seeking information on the latest courses available, the SGEducation app is an invaluable resource. Besides the latest education stories culled from The Straits Times, the app is a one-stop resource for education-related supplements published by Singapore Press Holdings.

Launched in March 2015, supplement titles available on the app include “Knowledge Quest”, “The Sunday Times’ Postgraduate Studies”, “The New Paper’s Go Guide” (on options beyond O and A levels) and “My Paper’s Executive Pathways” (covers topics on continuing education).  You can also browse the articles at leisure on your Android or iOS device. The app is updated when new supplements are published, plus when you tap on an advertisement about a course, you will be immediately linked to the relevant institution’s website.

Advertisement sales director Martin Boey says: “The SGEducation app allows us to better integrate our print education supplements, features and specials.  The app enhances the user’s experience of the reading contents.”

Ms Serene Lim, director, Office of Admissions at SIM University, says: “From an adverting perspective, you get more mileage out of your advertisements as the shelf life of the print advertisements is extended to reach more readers.”

Download the free app from Google Play store or Apple App store.
