Lianhe Zaobao kick-started this year’s dining series themed around the Emperors from four of China’s greatest dynasties.

Presented by Maybank, the first instalment debuted with the feast from The Qin Dynasty, which attracted over 250 invited guest and readers. 

Held on May 25 at Fairmont Singapore, Szechuan Court created an exceptional seven-course feast that was inspired by the first unifier of China, Qin Shi Huang.  The dishes were harmoniously paired with Argentinian wines sponsored by Golden Hung Ho. Apart from the uniquely themed dishes, Chef also dished out great culinary tips onsite.

The fun-packed afternoon started with guests playing pre-luncheon games to learn about the intriguing chapter of China’s history and Qin’s remarkable feats.  The fun continued inside the ballroom as popular radio DJ Huang Wenhong hosted great games on stage.

The event concluded with a lucky draw.  One lucky winner walked away with a weekend hotel stay and three others won a wine hamper each.
