The debut of Lianhe Zaobao’s LOHAS (Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability) Livestream Series on 26 September ran successfully, generating lively social interaction from the audience.
The livestream series ran in lieu of the physical edition of the Lianhe Zaobao LOHAS Mega Health Seminar, which is now in its 14th year. Through the free, hour-long weekend livestream, Lianhe Zaobao continued to share valuable insights to the audience on popular health concerns along with reputable doctors and nutritionists. Registration was free for all and the livestream was broadcast on 4 platforms, consisting of zaobao.sg, Lianhe Zaobao Facebook, zaobaoLE Facebook and zaobaoNOW Facebook.
Extensive publicity for partner brands
With over $180,000 worth of publicity in total, the campaign provided an effective opportunity for brands to gain more exposure and engagement with the audience.
The publicity campaign ran across print, radio and digital platforms from 11-26 September, while editorial coverage included both pre-event and post-event stories in Lianhe Zaobao.
The livestream included interstitials that provided sponsors with highly sought after airtime for branding purposes, and treated viewers to a showcase of exclusive promotions, flash deals and services.
Live comment moderation was specially arranged during the broadcast to encourage better interaction between the organiser and viewers, and to facilitate ability to tag sponsors for optimum exposure throughout the livestream session.
