MyPaper readers learn the art of looking gorgeous

It was an afternoon well spent for MyPaper readers at the MyPaper Metropolitan Workshop on March 12 at Wisma Atria.

Sixty participants were treated to hairstyling and beauty tips with live demonstrations by the sponsor, The Body Shop.

Ms Esther Chua, co-founder of Studi@pe Hair Salon, gave the audience pre-hairstyling tips on how to take care of the hair. She also wowed the crowd with demonstrations on how to switch hairstyles from a day to night look and a fuss-free way to prepare for a job interview.

Attendees also got skincare and make-up tips from Ms Zunaida Parvin, training manager of The Body Shop, who also demonstrated a make-up technique suitable for an all-day look.

Three lucky MyPaper readers also walked away with more than $500 worth of The Body Shop products in a lucky draw.

Ms Tan Jinli, Marketing Manager of The Body Shop, said: “We are really impressed with the turn-out of the whole event! MyPaper did a fantastic job in organising this workshop – from the planning and speaker selection to ensuring a smooth flow during the actual event. We look forward to more collaboration opportunities with MyPaper.”
