Welcoming the Year of the Goat in advance, over 300 readers enjoyed an entertaining and sumptuous Lunar New Year luncheon at Tien Court, Copthorne King’s Hotel Singapore on January 18.

The luncheon kicked off with a mass “yusheng lou hei” and the appearance of The God of Fortune, who gave away ‘ang paos’ to the guests. His presence was also very well-received as it symbolises the bringing of wealth and good prosperity for the coming new year.  

Masterchef Ho Tien Tsai from Tien Court also shared one of his private recipes, steamed rice with Shanghai green and bacon with the participants. On top of that, guests were entertained with song performances, Lunar New Year related games and challenges.

The luncheon ended with an attractive lucky draw, sponsored by supporting partner Copthorne King’s Hotel.  2D1N Copthorne King’s Hotel stays, Tien Court dinning vouchers and Princess Terrace dinning vouchers were given away to twelve lucky participants.
