Recognising Made-in-Singapore Games at DL Awards 2014

Over the last two years, games that are created in Singapore have made a great impact here and around the world.   Some gamers have hit over a million downloads while others have been prominently featured in app stores.

This year’s DL Forum will focus on the meteoric rise of made-in-Singapore games. To be held on Feb 11 at the Shangri-La Hotel, the forum will bring together the who’s who of the video game industry, including developers, publishers, investors and government, in an activity-packed morning to discuss the latest trends, strategies and challenges for making games and taking them to commercial success.

The forum will be of interest to both experienced and budding game developers as well as tertiary students keen on a career in game development.  To register for the forum, visit straitstimes.com/2014DigitalLifeForum.

This forum is then followed by the annual DL Awards, where it seeks to honour the top gadgets and games in the industry.  Readers can vote for their favourites in the Readers’ Choice section and stand to win more than $40,000 in prizes. Visit straitstimes.com/2014DigitalLifeAwards for more details.
