Proudly boasting one of the best mookata joints in Singapore, the restaurant is a unanimous choice for dining or late-night supper. Its culinary secret lies in the flavourful marinated meat on the dome-shaped grilled plate, powered by the burning charcoal to yield its wonderful flavour. The signature ‘Ginger Kampung Chicken’ is a must-try at this outlet. Kampong chicken that’s at least 100 days old is used to ensure tenderness and chewiness. A flavourful mix of cekur root, turmeric, spices and herbs is boiled and simmered over six hours before the chicken is added and baked. But the best part has to be the addictive ginger paste!
