SPH Digital rings in the year of the goat

SPH Digital welcomed Lunar New Year with their trade advertisers and media partners at the Chinese New Year Appreciation Luncheon on Feb 4 at the Collyer and Padang Ballroom, Raffles City Convention Centre.  Despite the bad weather, more than 500 guests turned up for the event.

The start of the luncheon was marked by the entrance of the lion dance troupe together with Mr Julian Tan, Head of SPH Digital, who thanked trade advertisers and partners for their support over the past year. He also highlighted some of the key events this year and unveiled the new audience targeting capability, which will allow marketers to reach out to a bigger and more targeted prospect base.

A mass “lo hei” session was next with everyone tossing the traditional dish, wishing for a good year and abundance of wealth. During the course of the lunch, the God of Fortune went around passing red packets, each containing a lottery ticket, to all the guests. There were also zodiac readings on stage as fengshui masters shared on the year ahead for the different zodiac signs.

Mr Tan said: “Besides heralding in the new lunar year, we would also like to show our appreciation to all our advertisers and partners for their strong support over the last 12 months. 2015 will be exciting with a number of key products celebrating their 20th anniversaries as well as a slew of new product initiatives like the 'SPH Audience Targeting' capability.  We are fully committed to strengthening our value proposition to the market at large in the year ahead.”

SPH Digital wishes its esteemed advertisers and partners a happy and prosperous year ahead.
