The team from Kaleido ousted over 30 teams to emerge as champions in SPH Radio’s inaugural Beer Pong Championship 2014 held on July 31 at Bianca Supperclub.

The winning team was rewarded with $300 worth of food & beverage vouchers, a compact fridge filled with beer, a trophy and a Beer Pong table.

SPH Radio Beer Pong 2014 was initiated to build on existing relationship with its agency friends. It was a night of food, drinks and fun. With the 40 pre-event slots filled up fast, agency friends were also invited to support their work buddies or just to eat, drink and be merry. 

Participating teams had to land the given ping pong balls into their opponents’ beer-filled cups in order to eliminate them, with many others cheering them on. Popular DJs from HOT FM 91.3, UFM 100.3 and KISS 92 were also on hand to make the atmosphere electrifying.

Invites to the event went out in mid- June and were covered extensively via various eDMs, printed invites as well printed posters. Beer was also delivered to as many agencies as SPH Radio could reach. 

Buoyed by the success of the event, plans are in place to make it an annual affair.
