Back for its second year, the GSS Fantasy Shopping challenge is organised by The Straits Times in partnership with electronics, IT, bedding and furniture retail chain Harvey Norman.

This year, the challenge was held at the Harvey Norman Northpoint City superstore on 18 May 2018.

Three pairs of participants were each given $5,000 to spend within 30 minutes and had to chalk up the highest percentage of discount savings to win. The couple with the biggest savings get to keep all their products

Mr Lim and Ms Wang went home happy and satisfied, having chalked up the biggest savings of more than $7,209 or 59.28 per cent off the total price of their basket of goods.

Both runner-up teams also received Harvey Norman shopping vouchers worth $200.
