This year’s National Real Estate Congress (NREC) was held on Tuesday, Aug 12, 2014, at the Singapore Island Country Club and ST Property is proud to be the official online media partner.

The annual congress, co-organised by FIABCI Singapore, saw an impressive turnout of at least 300 industry professionals keen to stand out and achieve. The theme of the Congress is “Capitalising Opportunities in Today’s Real Estate Industry”. The objective of this Congress is to draw upon the industry experts’ reservoir of knowledge in the real estate industry and collectively explore the opportunities that are available today in the light of recent cooling measures.

Property experts and professionals covered recent topics on cooling measures, the latest update on commercial properties as well as opportunities and risks of the overseas market. Among them are Mr Dennis Yeo (Managing Director, Colliers), A/Professor Sing Tien Foo (Deputy Head – Dept of Real Estate, NUS), Mr Seah Seng Choon (Executive Director, CASE), Mr Eugene Lim (Key Executive Officer, ERA) and Mr Kelvin Fong (Senior Group District Director, Propnex).

The NREC also took this occasion to honour the best real estate salespersons by giving out the STProperty-SAEA Real Estate Excellence Awards 2014 for Best Salesperson, Client Service and Leadership. The award encourages submissions by salespersons to recognise their professional accomplishments and conduct in this vital and growing real estate industry.
