Through the Lens: Celebrating the best in news photography

Environmental and sustainability-oriented brands can look forward to the upcoming edition of Through The Lens, a month-long showcase organised by The Straits Times anchored by two signature photo exhibitions — World Press Photo and ST Photo Exhibition — to celebrate the finest in news photography.

This year, the ST Photo Exhibition puts the spotlight on climate change and sustainability. Advertisers will receive a total media value over $300,000 through entitlements that include sponsor acknowledgment across our print and online platforms, on-site logo placement, and inclusion in selected editorial stories. 

Set to return to the National Museum of Singapore in Q1 of 2022, the exhibition will feature captivating and artistic images taken by ST photojournalists, as well as some of the best videos produced by the ST Visual team. 

Meanwhile, billed as the "Oscars" of photojournalism, World Press Photo is a prestigious exhibition that celebrates images from around the world reflecting major world developments. This powerful, provocative and poignant display tours to more than 100 cities in 45 countries every year with themes of contemporary issues, environment, nature and sports.

As part of the event’s programme, a series of insightful panel discussions and talks will be held featuring award-winning photojournalists and photographers. Photos and videos of the exhibition will also be showcased on The Straits Times website and social media platforms to reach a wider audience.

The presenting sponsor, exclusive to 1 brand only, will receive the following entitlements:
