Nothing says “Home Sweet Home” like your very own space!
MyPaper conducted an inaugural lifestyle workshop for readers buying their first homes. The workshop was held on June 4 at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The invited speakers for the workshop shared their expertise on protecting and maintaining what is probably one of the most important investments in one’s life.
Mr George Budiman, president, Interior Design Confederation Singapore and Chairman/Founder, Asian Creative Industries Alliances, kicked off the event with his insights and experiences on how to make the best use of interior space with various styles.
Ms Shelly Chan, marketing manager of Nippon Paint Singapore, wowed the crowd with her humorous talk on creating harmony with design themes and colours for paint.
Ms Lynette Tan, director (Customer Relationship Management), SP Services, shared electricity and water conservation tips through the SP Services mobile application.
Ms Luann Leong, business development manager, Ferrara Asiapac Pte Ltd, a participating partner for workshop, said: “It was great to be part of this workshop because we got to interact with many home owners. The greatest takeaway for us was learning about their concerns when it comes to bathrooms and toilets. We always like to have on-the-ground feedback so that we can better advise all our future clients.”
In conjunction with the MyPaper “MyHome” supplements published on March 18 and June 3, one bathroom and one bedroom makeover packages worth $12,000 each were given away through two in-paper contests.
Mr Victor Phuah, sales manager, Lian Seng Hin Trading Co Pte Ltd, sponsor for the bathroom makeover contest, said: "Lian Seng Hin has certainly reap enormous advantages being an advertiser and also a sponsor for the MyPaper “MyHome” Bathroom makeover contest. Visits to our website doubled and our company branding is very much elevated. The MyPaper “MyHome” supplement is one of the most effective platforms in newsprint we have participated in, and we look forward to more of such advertising and sponsorship opportunities.”
Mr Christopher Lee, managing director, Artisan Space, sponsor for both contests and participating partner for the workshop, said: “Choosing SPH as my company's preferred media for my marketing improved our company image and sales. Their event also gave us an outreach to a different class of audience. Our sponsorship in MyPaper “MyHome” gave us the exposure and allowed us to reach out and engage PMEBs who are looking at renovating their first homes.”
