Age is no barrier when it comes to chasing your dreams, and this was clearly evident at the recently held auditions for this year’s edition of the TNP New Face.
Open to all ages, the auditions attracted over 100 participants with contestants as young as 14 and some in their 30s to the Subaru showroom in a bid to be one of the 20 girls selected this year.
With a good mix of participants across a range of body shapes and ages, the auditions embodied the competition’s credo of discovery and new opportunities.
Newly crowned Miss Universe Singapore, Zahra Khanum was one of the judges for the auditions.
Other judges included local fashion director, Daniel Boey; CLEO Singapore beauty editor Smita DeSouza; TNP New Face Creative Director, Yeoh Wee Teck and Diana Wong from Motor Image Enterprises.
The 20 semi-finalists selected will undergo intensive photoshoots and trainings to compete for The New Paper New Face 2018 title during the finale on 15 November which will be held at Bugis+ Atrium from 7.30pm to 10pm.
