Driving through a muddy pool or a deep trench were just some of the obstacles testing drivers and vehicles in the TNP Suvival Challenge 2014.
Mr Kwok Chee Wei and his family have participated in the TNP Suvival Challenge every year for nine years, and they were proud to be the winning team in this year’s event, which was also the ninth edition of this annual challenge.
This year’s challenge course took the participants to off-road stations including a plantation on the outskirts of Malacca, about 170 km from Singapore. Participants had to drive through the plantation while completing a specially constructed obstacle course. They also had to drive through a steeper but dry ravine, balancing on logs and navigating their way through the plantation while conquering mini-stations such a throwing darts and fishing rubber ducks from a bucket.
Sponsors like Holland & Barrett were happy to be the official Health Supplement once again this year.
Mr Dhinakaran, managing director of Jay Gee Health, said: “Holland & Barrett is delighted to partner The New Paper SUVival Challenge 2014 once again. This partnership helps to deliver valuable brand exposure for Holland & Barrett where we share a common interest in maintaining high levels of fitness and health. Hence, our partnership with TNP SUVival Challenge is a good fit as it allowed us to promote the positive healthy living messages to our community.”
TNP SUVival Challenge will be running its 10th year event in 2015 and it promises to be bigger and better than before. If you are interested to be part of this key signature event of The New Paper, please contact Niccolle Lum at 6319 4029 or email to nlum@sph.com.sg.
