This year’s Mother’s Day celebration was anything but ordinary for more than 1,000 readers who joined the inaugural Shin Min Mother’s Day Fun Walk on 5 May.

The 3.5-kilometre route, organised by Shin Min Daily News to commemorate mothers, was specially structured to include a scenic stroll along the river, providing the perfect opportunity for families to have a fun time while enjoying the beautiful sights together.

Hosted by UFM 100.3 DJs Li Mei and Wei Long, there were multiple stage programs to keep families entertained, as well as attractive product discounts offered. Each participant also received a goodie bag worth more than $80.
