A tremendous audience attended the recent Wanbao CoffeeTalk event that was held at HDB Hub atrium on Nov 30.

In partnership with A WorkRight Initiative, this last WB Coffeetalk session of 2014 was hosted by UFM100.3 renowned DJ, Wong Woon Hong. It aimed to raise more awareness among low-wage workers of their basic legal employment rights.

Lianhe Wanbao readers gained useful insights from guest speakers Steven Goh, Deputy Executive Secretary of the Food, Drinks & Allied Workers' Union, Mr Lim Hock Chee, CEO of Sheng Shiong Group and Mr Eric Soon, a sales coordinator for a health food company.

A lot of enquiries were also raised by the audience who were concerned with their current employment status.

The Lianhe Wanbao CoffeeTalk is a series of talkshows for Wanbao editorial and readers to engage in a lively chat on the latest current and social issues.
