Zaobao online boosts presence in China

Already with a huge base of online subscribers, especially in China, Zaobao Online created a stronger presence by taking part in ad:tech China 2014, which was held in Shanghai, China, on June 26 and 27.   

The two-day conference focused on current and future of digital marketing. The participants comprised movers and shakers from international and some of China’s top advertising, brand and creative agencies. 

The participants shared new technologies, brand strategies, marketing tactics, market statistics and observations of the digital industry.  The seminars covered a broad range of topics such as content, design, cross marketing, interactive media, consumer resource management and statistics analysis.

Mr Zhou Zhao Cheng, Editor of Zaobao Online, was invited to speak at one of the seminars titled “Content and social media strategies for the 90s consumers”.  He shared about marketing using social media platforms.

Mr Steven Wong, Head of Marketing, Digital Division and Mr Lawrence Wong, Head of International Sales, also networked with representatives from local digital companies and promoted the Zaobao Online brand to their target audience.

They were backed by the team of marketing colleagues from Digital Division, who explained and promoted the brand to advertisers at the event.  The team also took the opportunity to conduct a user survey with more than 100 participants to gather consumer feedback.
